Paris won the Champions Trophy, his third in a row – Le Point

The Paris Saint-Germain starts well his season by winning the Champions Trophy, his third in a row. He won against Lyon (2-0) thanks to goals from Cavani Aurier and Saturday in Montreal. The seriousness of his performance and the desire displayed on the Saputo Stadium lawn are unmistakable: PSG wanted to add his name fifth time the Top (OL remains the most successful with seven) and run for a week of resumption of the championship as the overwhelming favorite to succeed him. The message is passed.

Although more and legs, better organized and confident that Lyonnais cruelly to the death and the antithesis of the rival they were still in late May for the title race L1, the Parisians were quickly ended as debate already led by two-goal after 17 minutes. It is primarily Serge Aurier, the best Parisien daily, who opened the scoring when he rose to head in a cross tense David Luiz (11th). The two defenders were mounted at the forefront on a free kick from Lucas, and PSG to demonstrate that it has not lost its effectiveness on set pieces.

Lyon back

The second goal, the Edinson Cavani scored a powerful half-volley under the bar, not easy to run, after Lopes pushed first shooting Ibrahimovic (17th). The Swede, who got treatment right knee after contact with Henri Bedimo, could drive the point of renewed heel just before the break. But Lopes is interposed and Blaise Matuidi, surprised at the time, missed its recovery in the six meters.

Exceeded and clearly not recovered from spanking (6-0) received last Saturday in a friendly in Arsenal, OL has not experienced salvation 4-3-3 with the set up by Hubert Fournier, in which Claudio Beauvue for his first start, has more often played right rear attacker. Fortunately, Lopes has prevented his team to take a more severe correction, with other interventions before Matuidi (49th) and Ibrahimovic (55th, 84th)

Next opponent:. Lille

Portuguese international was the only Lyonnais to hold its own, while Maxime Gonalons too quickly expressed his frustration over the ankle of Ibra and left for the last half hour teammates to ten (2nd yellow card, 63) or somewhat nine, as Alexandre Lacazette was ghostly. The top scorer in Ligue 1 last season (27 goals), presumably disturbed by negotiations around his contract extension, has not given the best positive signs its leaders. And Jean-Michel Aulas, who castigated the attitude of his players after the defeat of London, had to enjoy.

Paris does not care about the situation of the runner on which he took revenge after two lost finals (2004, 2006). For Kevin Trapp, who played his first official game with Paris, the afternoon was in any case a great peace, as his first stop came at the 89th minute on the first shot on target Lyon to Tolisso. It will take at least six days and the 1st day of Ligue 1 to better assess the qualities of the German goalkeeper, Lille.
