Symmetrically, Montpellier remains glued to the last place, with no victory nor the smallest goal scored. For its part, Paris is well, apart from Javier Pastore injury early in the game, replaced by Adrien Rabiot (10th). PSG, also still without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, not quite recovered from his sprained right knee to be in the group, did not need to force too much talent to overcome bottom club.
In the beginning of the quiet season, the team of Laurent Blanc, who found his first club, has suffered from a lack of inspiration offensive but did not tremble defensively. Thiago Silva showed all his assurance controlling tendencies of opponents, and Germany’s Kevin Trapp has managed one of the few stops that he had to do since he was in France on a powerful header Ramy Bensebaini ( 49th), during the brief period of domination héraultaise.
Too shy, PSG was served by unfulfilled dribbling Lucas and lack of punch Edinson Cavani, too soft in the shot (51st ), then offside as he thought scoring (54th). The arbitrators also denied a goal to Serge Aurier, also for offside (36th)
The PSG will test a bit more serious next Sunday in Monaco, against one of the only teams. – Maybe – able to challenge its domination of Ligue 1, which lasts for three years.
