PSG-Gazélec (2-0), the cheat sheet: PSG are in his chair, and he is not about to abandon – Eurosport.fr

Game: Two fatal mistakes for Gazélec

PSG’s superiority over Gazélec was not in doubt. She immediately translated on the ground, in all areas of the game. The lack of realism of Paris has sometimes played tricks on him in similar situations, but this was not the case against the Corsican promoted. PSG scored twice in the first twenty minutes, perfectly exploiting defensive errors ajacciennes: a lack of commitment on a second balloon and no marking on a set piece. Against a team level that Laurent Blanc, it does not forgive.

Players: Matuidi is already warm

Ferryman decisive in Lille, opposite the first goalscorer Gazélec: Blaise Matuidi is the man for this season at PSG. Thiago Motta, Marco Verratti and Thiago Silva were the other prominent men in Paris. The attack was most disappointing, particularly Edinson Cavani, though Lucas has raised the level in the second half. In Gazélec, Clément Maury signed some fine saves in the second period, and Alexandre Coeff had some wise investments to cut paths. Grégory Pujol did what he could in attack, even providing the best Corsican occasion.

What could have changed everything

Gazélec had the chance to equalize the output of the first quarter hour with too cross head Pujol. But even a Corsican profit that time probably would not have changed the outcome of this game. There was too much difference between these two teams, at all levels.

The stat: 156

This is the number of balls hit by Marco Verratti facing Gazélec Ajaccio. But this is not a record, nearly two balloons. The Italian had 158 times the leather in the foot against Bastia (2-0) last season. Already facing a Corsican club and already during the 2nd day.

The declara: Laurent Blanc (PSG coach)

“Stambouli whistled? If no one has the right to be born in Marseille in the south or to play in Paris, it’s anything. Frankly this is ridiculous, if one has not the right to be born in the south, that means that I can not lead the Paris SG. “

The question: Paris, leading to the end

PSG Ligue 1 leader from the 2nd day it’s something new under the QSI era. Especially compared to the three titles in Paris in the last three seasons. The capital club had to wait until the 21st day to take power in 2012-2013, in 2013-2014 the 10th day and the 30th in 2014-2015. Paris had accustomed us to more winded coves. This is not the case this year. The question is not really whether Paris will champion. Rather whether he will be leading the way, from the 2nd to the 38th day, without once giving up his lead.

It is not easy to consider otherwise. Between Lille and Gazélec, PSG confirmed the impression of being ahead of its preparation from previous seasons. The team Laurent Blanc is however not in top form. It is still supposed to ramp up. And record the return of his two best individuals in the forward line, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Angel Di Maria. Paris is already in mind, but the best is yet to come. Especially if he manages to keep Thiago Motta.

Some difficulty too. If PSG must abandon his seat as leader, it is perhaps in the next two weeks or never. Parisians play twice in a row outside. At the Red Lantern, Montpellier and Monaco, one of the main candidates for the podium with Lyon this season. If the capital club still leads the standings after these two appointments, the hypothesis to see leading the way will not hurt even when thick.
