Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, after difficult times, was revived by reviving the quarterfinals of Roland Garros, recalling that it remains the most consistent French Grand Slam. Manceau hassle to 30 years on the eleventh quarter-final of his career in a major tournament against Kei Nishikori, the world fifth. Already a quarter-finalist in 2012 and semifinalist a year later – his best result in Paris – “Jo” is like home at the Porte d’Auteuil, even if his punching power and his lead service allowed to succeed on other surfaces. He lost in the final in Australia in 2008 and reached twice the last four at Wimbledon (2011, 2012).
