France – Belgium. The Blues go near a humiliating evening – Ouest-France

Never the Blues had conceded four goals on their lawns since the inauguration of the premises of St-Denis, which is the magnitude of the disaster against Belgium. It should even go back to 1982 and a friendly against Poland at Parc des Princes (4-0) to find trace of such disappointment at home.

Without Benzema, Pogba and Evra

There is still time before the European Championship organized at home, but delivery of all French has enough challenge despite the reaction of PRIDE final minutes.

While programming this appointment was not ideal, after a long season for most of the international and the absence of three players major (Benzema, Pogba, Evra) proved particularly detrimental to troop Didier Deschamps. But the coach did not know probably imagined as a big disappointment.

A month and a half after the slap received against Brazil (3-1), the snub is a new warning toll on the road to the Euro and points out the limits current of El Tri. Since the World Cup, France was unbeaten against European nations and was able to afford the scalp of major countries such as Spain (1-0) and Portugal (2-1). This beautiful series took suddenly end and now the doubts that interferes in the blue house. The day before the meeting, Deschamps had welcomed the opportunity to work in peace and quiet during the week at Clairefontaine and will not harbored concerns about the motivation of the Blues, despite the proximity of the holidays. This was not seen on the lawn of the SDF as the Red Devils, rising forces of the world and European football, have given them a real lesson.

A leaky defense

The two daggers signed Fellaini came logically realize the technical domination Belgians. The Manchester United player has perfectly advantage of the apathy of the French defense, first on a bad return after a shooting Radja Nainggolan (17th) and a close-range header, the nose and the beard the-Varane Koscielny hinge (42).

The disaster was only beginning. Radja Nainggolan (50th) has strong addition just after the break before a penalty converted by Eden Hazard for a foul on Laurent Koscielny Axel Witsel (54th). Mathieu Valbuena had meanwhile reduced the score, also from the penalty spot, following a clash between Olivier Giroud and Nicolas Lombaerts (52nd).

Nabil Fekir had beautiful blue open its counter for its third selection (89th) after a nice job with Ntep and Dimitri Payet score a third goal (90th), evil was made long ago.

How to explain such a hammering? The defense took water in a big and without a flawless Hugo Lloris before Christian Benteke (26th) and the crossbar found by Romelu Lukakau (62nd), the defeat would have been even heavier.

Varane Koscielny and the sentence

Varane-Koscielny duo lived a nightmare and midfielder been orphaned prodigy Paul Pogba, held by the final of the Champions League lost Saturday with Juventus against FC Barcelona (3-1). Difficult for the valiant but very limited Moussa Sissoko to compete with the world champion U20 he was charged to replace …

Giroud was also painful to see and Benzema can sleep soundly. Its huge missed opportunity to Thibaud Courtois summarized its evening (48th) and his only merit was to get a penalty. He will now have to forget this event. Deschamps will hold perhaps the beautiful reaction of his players late in the game but a serious questioning is necessary in order not to be ridiculous to the Euro.
