MEDIA – The Team, some of the most important French national dailies, appears on Wednesday 10 June to tabloid format, a first public test day for the sports daily, reflecting a final swing.
The Team published since its creation in 1947 as broadsheet (large format). But some of its readers calls for a transition to tabloid adopted by many newspapers in the 2000s Two tests have already been carried out internally in the fall. A panel of a hundred readers were also asked to judge the new model.
“No timetable”
Among the recurring criticisms against the format broadsheet (56X38cm, 38X28cm to against the tabloid): the difficulty of reading the newspaper in transport. This test comes after a difficult 2014 year for The Team , which has seen its circulation fall by 9.76% to 219,955 copies on average each day (after Le Figaro Le Monde ), the largest decline of national newspapers.
