Gazélec will discover Ajaccio Ligue 1 – Eurosport.fr

LEAGUE 2 – Gazélec Ajaccio, from the National budget and lower L2, ensured its rise in Ligue 1 by winning against Niort (3-2) during the 32nd day. A first for the Corsican club. Angers comes close after drawing back from Nancy (0-0).

The GFC Ajaccio play for the first time in its history in L1 next season after beating Niort 3-2 Friday at the 37th day of Ligue 2, while that Angers has one foot in the elite after their draw at Nancy ( 0-0). This is a huge feat that has obtained the lowest budget (€ 4.5 million) and smaller stadium (3000 seats) L2: National promoted Gazélec saw its fourth accession in top division in five years .

Two goals in the first period of John Tshibumbu (18th and 32nd) and a goal of Captain Roderic Filippi after the break (51) enabled the GFCA to win a 13th win in Mezzavia. Reductions in niortaises score of Jimmy Roye (46th) and Seydou Koné (53) penalty was not enough to deprive Ajaccians, which with 65 points can not be joined to 2nd place, a climb alongside Troyes, already assured of the title of champion.

Ligue 2: Summary – Eurosport

The third ticket to the elite played largely in Lorraine, where Angers suffered at the end of a tense encounter but walked away with a point (0-0). The draw, combined with that from Dijon to Tours (0-0), benefits the SCO, 3rd with 61 points and will need only a draw on the last day against Nimes, while Nancy and Dijon, 4th and 5th with 58 points, will compete in Burgundy. Despite winning 2-1 against Troyes, Brest, who still kept a small rise in the early evening of hope, can not reach 57 points over Angers.

Chateauroux, who conceded a draw against Le Havre (0-0), officially relegated to National, joining Arles-Avignon, who beat Orleans (4-1) for the honor. With this defeat, combined with no AC Ajaccio in Nimes (1-1), the club’s relegation Loiret returns (37 points), although this is probably Nimes, struck by an administrative relegation, which should take the elevator to the lower level.

But the Gard Club, sanctioned following the alleged rigged matches, hope appellate review of the FFF, and Orleans had better win against Sochaux Friday if he wants to avoid a nasty surprise late season. Just in front, AC Ajaccio (38 points) and Valenciennes (39), who made a draw against Sochaux (1-1), are not yet saved. In the only two games without issue because opposing mid-table formations, Laval beat Auxerre 3-1 and Clermont and Créteil were unable to tie (2-2).
