Coupe de France. Winner of Auxerre, Paris returned in history – Ouest-France

It is done. Paris became the first club achieved a fourfold after winning three national competitions and the Champions Trophy in August.

The first half consisted of a defense-attack. Thus, Thiago Motta hit the post Donovan Léon (40 ‘). Previously, Ibrahimovic had seen on his way to interpose the Auxerre goalkeeper twice (32 ‘and 36′). Auxerre broke but did not bend and joined the locker room all happy to hang the champion title in France.

After the break, Donovan Leon was again decisive in blocking a resumption of a cross from Cavani Maxwell (54 ‘). Auxerre then procured its first real move of the match. Thiago Silva Baby interposed before the 59 th and Cheikh Diarra sent the ball just over the goals of Nicolas Douchez (63 ‘).



And Cavani liberated Paris

Paris reacted and took the lead just when the Burgundians were acquiring clear chances. Van Der Wiel, shifted to the right by Verratti, found Cavani whose head ended in Auxerre goals.

They were trying to equalize well gone, but Diarra proved too soft to worry Douchez ( 84 ‘).

Paris was therefore needed by the narrowest of margins in the face of combative Auxerrois.
