Arsenal is doing well at West Ham (1-2) – Sports.fr

Court winner at West Ham (1-2), Arsenal, the only team in the Top 7 to win this Sunday is the big winner of the 19th day of the Premier League. Arsène Wenger climb to fifth in the standings, waiting perhaps better in three days.

Beautiful day for Arsenal. While Tottenham and Manchester United are neutralized (0-0), as Southampton and Chelsea (1-1), the formation of Arsene Wenger is the only table top team have imposed this Sunday, which more field is a direct competitor, West Ham (1-2). And that’s saying that the Gunners big winners of the 19th day, do not have to complain about this scenario.

At Upton Park, the Cannoniers did not deliver the finest service their season. Curiously, they let the ball with Hammers which, although authors of a start amazing championship, are not deemed to be machines to produce the game. But that did not stop Arsenal turning head at the break, scoring on his only two occasions, just before the break: a penalty earned and converted by Santi Cazorla (0-1, 41th), and the fourth goal of the season from Danny Welbeck -which marks only when Oliver Giroud is not on the field- on an offering of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (0-2, 44th).

Too bad for them, this success did not accompany the Gunners in the second act, who missed half a dozen chances to kill the game, either by mistake (Welbeck 66th, 77th), or because of Adrian parades before Cazorla (56th), Oxlade-Chamberlain (74th) and Sanchez ( 76th). Result, West Ham could well have snatch a draw after reducing the gap Kouyaté (1-2, 55th), but neither Diafra Sakho (60th) nor Enner Valencia (90 +4) will not help Arsenal to climb fifth in the standings. Before visiting the fourth, Southampton, in three days.
