Football: Barcelona permanently banned transfers until January … – The Obs

Geneva (AFP) – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Tuesday confirmed the ban on transfers for the next two periods, until January 2016, FC Barcelona for offenses relating to the transfer of ten minor players .

“The panel found that FC Barcelona had violated the rules concerning the protection of minors and registration of minors who attend football academies,” said CAS in a statement, adding that “accordingly, the decision of FIFA (taken in April) is confirmed in its entirety and the penalty remains in force.”
