Buddies first
This is a classic. “If you do not know who to vote for, vote for your club buddies” : this could be the saying of the Golden Ball since the poll was open to players and coaches ago five years. Lionel Messi, the 2015 winner, did not make otherwise. His trio? Luis Suarez, Neymar and Andres Iniesta.
Cristiano Ronaldo? He voted for Karim Benzema, James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale, of course. CR7 is also the only one to have made the French striker’s Ballon d’Or 2015 … What about the Brazilian Neymar? He voted for Argentina’s Lionel Messi. Then Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic. The Ballon d’Or, the other Land Clasico.

First Mates (bis)
You will say that is not fair since the outset looked on the side of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona and the antagonism between the two clubs could hardly allow to vote for Messi Ronaldo and vice versa. .. It’s not false. So we went to the side of Robert Lewandowski. The captain of Poland chose … Manuel Neuer, Arturo Vidal and Thomas Müller. A Bayern Munich player voting for three other Bavarians. Vincent Kompany (Manchester City) himself has dared to vote for player of another club number 1. Who? Eden Hazard (Chelsea). Short…
Lloris had the hollow but not blue nose (DD either)
Called to vote in his capacity as captain of France, Hugo Lloris found the trifecta in the order this year. Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar: Tottenham porter had foreseen everything. Didier Deschamps, he preferred to Cristiano Ronaldo Lionel Messi. And gave a point to Thomas Müller, talented but discreet player whose collective efforts are constant. It all to DD. You will note that both French did vote for any Blue. Not a point to Benzema nor Pogba. Löw, Germany coach, did not bother him when choosing: Neuer, Müller, Kroos.

And Italy? Well it does not vote
For unknown reasons, but that could appeal to the fact that Gianluigi Buffon was not included among the list of 50 for the Golden Ball in autumn, Italy did not vote. Neither Antonio Conte nor Gigi Buffon did not participate in the election. We’ll know more soon but, whatever happens, it’s unfortunate.
Robben and fans of Barça Zlatan
For Arjen Robben, it’s no doubt the magic triplet FC Barcelona deserved to occupy the whole of the Ballon d’Or podium. Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez are three choices. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, too, has given all his votes in Barcelona and at the same triplet but in a different order because behind Messi, he preferred to Suarez Neymar. No grudge the “Z”.

Casillas has “failed”
If you want to know the Spanish captain of the vote, it will be … next year. Because in 2015, it was not pressed at the gate to elect the Golden Ball 2015. Iker Casillas, the officer to the task, have received the papers from the Spanish federation too late. It is not very serious anyway.
Mbia and La Liga, that’s two
Yaya Toure was very unhappy with the choice of the CAF and the identity of the African Player of the Year elected last weekend (Aubameyang). Stephane Mbia was probably a little comforted by voting for him. The captain of the Cameroon found that the Manchester City player deserved the Golden Ball before Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Manuel Neuer. The former Marseille may not be captures the channels that broadcast the Spanish Championship.
Pogba king of Vanuatu!
Paul Pogba, ranking fifteenth Ballon d’Or 2015 and a member of the FIFPro team of the year, can be proud of: a captain placed him in the lead. This is Masauvakalo Fenedy, Vanuatu. Before Messi and Ronaldo? No. Far ahead of them since dolphins are called Thomas Mueller and Alexis Sanchez. The phrase “out of sight, out of heart” took the lead in the wing.
… but not his family
Florentin Pogba, as captain of Guinea, has had its say. And has not favored his brother since his three votes, the eldest of the siblings has reserved three other players: Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Manuel Neuer. Little Paul has better watch out.
