NBA: Golden State gives a lesson in San Antonio – The World

Golden State, the defending NBA champion and Western Conference leader, has smashed his runner in the standings San Antonio 120-90, Monday, January 25, in the highly anticipated clash the two best teams of the season. The Warriors have left no chance for Spurs who never led the scoring.

Golden State’s victory was already assured before the end of the third period (95-66), which allowed the two coaches, Steve Kerr and Gregg Popovich, to spare their stars during the final period. Franchising Oakland stopped San Antonio net which nevertheless had to chain thirteen straight wins and now has a record of 38 wins and seven losses.



Curry 37 points

Stephen Curry, impressive with his 37 points, including six three-pointers in nine tempted, and his teammates on their side chained a 34 th straight win at home. They consolidated their top spot in the Western Conference (41 V-4 d) and, more importantly for the play-offs, sent a strong message to the Spurs who seemed overwhelmed by events.

The Texas Franchise yet has the best defense in the NBA, but she never found the answers to stop the best attack of the championship.

Evening nightmare for TP

The absence of Tim Duncan hit a knee, and incredible excitement – lost 25 balls, including nine in the first period, 41.9% success in shooting – did not help the Spurs who, at the like their French point guard Tony Parker (5 points in 18 minutes), lived a nightmarish evening.
