England-France – French Marseillaise and flag: the beautiful one of the English press – Eurosport.fr

         Tuesday evening, it is a friendly game like no other that will take place at Wembley. Four days after the deadly attacks in Paris, the France team faces England in a London enclosure where emotion promises to be lively.
       

         Particularly expected, the pre-match protocol will evolve into poignant tribute and should provide some thrills. With, the highlight being a Marseillaise should be resumed in chorus by some 90,000 people. Unthinkable before November 13, this initiative is highly encouraged by the British sports press, some of which are on Tuesday a model of solidarity.
       

         The Mirror Sport opts for the lyrics of La Marseillaise with a French flag in the background. The tabloid invites readers to show their “support to French singing their national anthem before the game” .
       

         
            The Sun also puts the patriotic song written by Rouget de Lisle in his honor and a bar with a “Vive le football” , which it considers “a message of resistance Wembley terrorists” .
       

         Featured Daily Mail , the French flag was also raised. We find this last quotes Didier Deschamps, Wayne Rooney and Hugo Lloris, times of their press conferences Monday: “We will bring our beautiful blue, white, red more proudly” to coach Blues, “Tonight we will show the terrorists that the world stands against them” to the English captain and “We will play for our country and for the victims” to his French counterpart.
