OM: Turns closed against Angers – The Équipe.fr

Following the incidents of the match Marseille-Lyon, the LFP’s disciplinary committee decided to hit hard. A precautionary measure, the North and South curves will be closed during the OM-Angers meeting next Sunday (14.00). Romain Alessandrini, sent off for a challenge on Valbuena, took two-match suspension (plus one suspended). Absent Wednesday against Toulouse and facing the SCO, he will make his return to L1 during the Classic against PSG.
The partial closed session is valid until October 15, the date of the convocation of leaders Marseille. Marseille, represented at the headquarters of the League by its CEO Philippe Perez and General Secretary Cedric Dufoix could fear the worst because of the resonance taken by events in the Velodrome and finally comes out with less severe than feared damage. But he will wait until the outcome of the investigation to finally know his fate.

The “criminal record” of the club Marseille is indeed full. OM are within the scope of a partial suspension for a closed session of the Velodrome after incidents during OM-Nice last season. It has also already played two matches in L1 being sanctioned a private session this season (closing down the north turn for Marseille-Caen and Marseille-Troyes), for, inter alia, “ jets of a firecracker and objects near the Bastia goalkeeper who led twice interrupting the meeting “at the last day of the previous year.
