FIFA announced Thursday that Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini respectively would be heard on 17 and 18 December with its domestic law. The two men are suspended in the case of the controversial payment of 1.8 million euros. The hearings before the trial chamber of the FIFA ethics committee in Zurich are decisive steps for the judgment on the merits for the two leaders.
Platini will be set on Friday the decision of the Arbitral Tribunal for Sport (CAS) or not to lift the provisional suspension of all football-related activities. The CAS decision is a separate procedure the verdict of FIFA on the bottom, which will be made by Christmas.
