Leicester test facing the ogre City – ladepeche.fr

It is in difficult times that we see the big teams. It is still early to judge but Leicester Premier League surprise training, demoted to 2nd place after the victory over Arsenal yesterday Bournemouth (2-0) faced its first real period of adversity. The setback in Liverpool (0-1) on Saturday, the second of the season after only one at home against Arsenal (2-5) in September, recalled that the Foxes were not invincible. For the first time this season, they did not score and their best player and striker Jamie Vardy, seized and shot in the calf, did not even finish the game.

This defeat does is not necessarily a halt since, at the same time, Arsenal and Manchester United also lost at the 18th day. The problem for Leicester is that Manchester City stands before him tonight.

For face the 4th place that comes to demolish Sunderland (4-1) four days earlier perhaps it the worst that could happen to Riyad Mahrez and its partners. It is now that we will see what this team is made of. For now, the home record against the big teams is average: defeat against Arsène Wenger therefore draw against Manchester United (1-1) and win against Chelsea (2-1). The ability and strength of the Foxes to play against do not always articulate against the best. What will it be today against City?

The chance of Leicester City is that this one is inconstant since the beginning of the season, capable of the best and the worst with heavy defeats Tottenham (1-4), against Liverpool (1-4) or Stoke (0-2) more recently. Despite these results sawtooth, protected Manuel Pellegrini remain the favorites for the title, more than Leicester, Arsenal and the other, thanks to an exceptional workforce.

The problem is that Citizens often have to face teams that project forward quickly, as Tottenham and Liverpool. And as Leicester. With Vardy Marhez, Marc Albrighton and even Shinji Okazaki, Claudio Ranieri has the perfect elements for this game against.

The style contrast between the two clubs will be fascinating to watch. In case of victory, Manchester City, still without Vincent Kompany, who relapsed Saturday would mean height of Leicester in the standings. If successful, Leicester prove to all the doubters though actively take part in the title race.
