NBA: Toronto surpasses “King James” and Cleveland – Eurosport.fr


         The Toronto Raptors with a huge Kyle Lowry, won Friday duel atop the East, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers, the conference leaders, in the final moments of the match (99-97).
       

         While no Canadian team ice hockey, the national sport, is able to qualify for the play-offs of the NHL, the basketball that gives a smile to the country: the Raptors, the second of East, linked together a fourth success and rise to only two successful “Cavs”.
       

         Toronto can say thank you to Kyle Lowry and 43 points (career high). Above all, the point guard scored before his audience the basket of victory, with less than 4 seconds of play remaining.
       

         
            “Kyle played quite a game. He did exactly the right things when his team needed” , admitted Kevin Love, the power forward a stumbling Cleveland for the third time row.
       

         
           LeBron James, he was limited to 25 points. The “King” even missed the three-point shot to win on the siren. “This is not why we lost” , he responded. “We made a mental error on mental mistake.”

         Elsewhere, Atlanta (5th) and Charlotte (7th) did the job. The Hawks, led by Jeff Teague (19 pts, 9 assists) have dominated the Chicago Bulls weakened by injuries (103-88).
