Nikola Karabatic was convicted of fraud and sentenced to fines of 10,000 euros by a court in Montpellier, where he was tried for fraud in the case of suspects paris related to the alleged rigged game of May 2012 between Cesson and Montpellier.
Three months suspended prison sentence and fined 30,000 euros were required against the player of FC Barcelona. No prison sentence has been pronounced against the 16 indicted, including 7 players.
