C1, preliminary round: In 11 minutes, Monaco did bend Berne – Eurosport.fr

Monaco decidedly like the Champions League. Quarter-finalist last season, the club from the Principality has offered the right to hope again enjoy the charms of the European competition. ASM dominated Tuesday night Young Boys Bern (1-3) in the third preliminary round first C1. Monegasques have thus taken a serious option on qualification for dams, pending the return expected on Tuesday.

It was tempting to think, this summer, the ASM would change face, it was disabled by the departure of Berbatov, or Kondogbia Ferreira Carrasco. That doubts have dissipated. Its composition (nine of the eleven holders were already there last season) to its device (the 4-2-3-1) through its gaming intentions, the formation of Leonardo Jardim used Tuesday night the weapons that had him allowed last season, reaching the rollercoaster of the test: the round back, rigor and insolent offensive success. In the field of the Swiss, Monaco made a match that recalled various aspects that managed to London last February, knockout round against Arsenal (1-3).

So, admittedly, Berne is not Arsenal. But Monaco this evening was not exactly the Monaco of the Emirates Stadium. The Principality players seemed dulled by intensive physical preparation (seven matches in less than a month), competing technical waste and defensive mistakes. After an initial period, however, marked by a messy ball to the advantage of the DSO, things are unrestrained in the beginning of the last half hour.

Behind a Guillaume Hoarau whose physical presence has undermined the Monegasque central hinge, Berne played jauntily his stroke. Kubo has even narrowly missed the opener when Kurzawa diverted on the line and a furious challenge, his shot (62). It was perhaps this to wake up the Red and White. Two minutes later, Kurzawa, alone at the back post, gave Monaco the lead with a superb volley (64th).

Just went then at great speed V. The second goal of the ASM, first signed Carrillo (64th), he rose to head (moments after his game input) a free-kick Moutinho . The score reduction of Bern then through Nuzzolo (72nd). And finally, the third Monaco goal scored by Pasalic, a clear left-footed half-volley (74th). Without shining, Monaco has scored when needed. Is granting the right to glimpse the rematch, scheduled next Tuesday on their lawn, with equanimity.
