The Austrian Dominic Thiem , the 15th player in the world and already winner in Buenos Aires in mid-February, will face Australian Bernard Tomic in the final tournament of Acapulco, after his victory against American Sam Querrey in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals yesterday. Earlier in the other half, Tomic, 23rd player in the world, reversed the trend against the Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov to win in three sets 1-6, 6-4 6-3, having completely lost his footing in the first inning.
