A week after the start of the Tour, Alexis Vuillermoz has emerged on Saturday 11 July in Mûr-de-Bretagne. At 27, this former champion MTB Cross-Country World beat the boss of the Tour Chris Froome.
Drowned in the bunch behind the favorite, Alexis Vuillermoz patiently waited two kilometers before the summit of Mur-de-Bretagne, to place his attack.

Neither attempts to return Froome nor heat will have because of its audacity. “Today, I wanted to try, not get a result, but try to win or anything. I tried to two to three times, and the third was the right” says the rider from AG2R La Mondiale.
